fantastic Seaview Upgrade

we got a complimentary upgrade from garden view to seaview in the new block. the room was large, and the view was great. the decor was nice and the bathroom was very good. provided iron and ironing board in the room saved having to call reception.

the beach was rocky and not great for swimming. the pools seemed small and heavily chlorinated, so i was careful with clothing that got wet. the sun bleached the clothing a little bit.

the restaurant setting provides a lush ambiance and a great view. happy hour happens between 6-8 everyday. breakfast has good options with fresh items available.

the balcony had a sofa that was really comfy. sea shoes are provided for the rocky seabed near the shore. the gym has good quality equipment. a free shuttle service transports you to lamai.

the staff were really friendly and very helpful . turn down service was appreciated. a free cocktail party was offered for one hour on one of the evenings. the staff were the friendliest people i met in thailand.
